The Rooms
Four bedrooms, four different mornings.
Each has its own bathroom. What separates them is what you see when you open your eyes - trees, garden, the mountain, or the quiet side of the house.
Two hundred and twenty square metres, arranged so that eight people can be together in the middle of the house. The living room and the open kitchen hold the centre. The bedrooms sit off them, each with its own bathroom, so nobody queues for anything.
Sleeping arrangements
Every bedroom has its own bathroom, and a fifth serves the living areas. Bed arrangements can be confirmed when you book.

The bedrooms

01
The Forest Room
Wardrobe, drawers, and the trees at the window.
The window looks straight into the green, close enough that the light arrives through the branches rather than at you. There is a full wardrobe and a chest of drawers. The bathroom is behind the bed - stone basin, round mirror, walk-in shower.
- En-suite bathroom
- Walk-in shower
- Wardrobe and drawers
- Forest outlook

02
The Garden Room
The basin is in the room, the shower behind the glass.
An open arrangement that works better than it sounds: the basin sits on a dark stone shelf in the room itself, with the shower behind glass alongside it. The wardrobe is open-fronted - shelves and hanging space both, so you can see what you brought. Two windows onto the trees, and curtains heavy enough to keep the morning out when you want it kept out.
- En-suite shower room
- Open wardrobe
- Basin set into the room
- Garden outlook

03
The Writing Room
The one with the desk.
A proper desk, a chair worth sitting at, and an adjustable lamp on the wall above the bed. If someone in the group has an hour of work to do, this is the room to do it in. Bathroom alongside.
- En-suite bathroom
- Desk and workspace
- Adjustable reading lamp
- The quiet side of the house

04
The Mountain Room
You wake up looking at the rock.
The window frames the mountain across the valley - bare stone above the treeline, changing colour twice a day. The headboard runs out into a shelf, so books and glasses have somewhere to live that is not the floor. Reading lights on both sides. Basin on dark stone, bathroom through.
- En-suite bathroom
- Mountain view
- Reading lights both sides
- Shelf headboard
The rooms you share

The living room
Long sofas, a stone fireplace, and the doors open.
Oak underfoot, white walls, and a ceiling high enough that the room stays cool without trying. The sofas are long rather than deep-set, arranged so that a group can actually talk. There is a stone fireplace for the months on either side of summer, and the whole room opens onto the covered terrace.

The open kitchen
An island to stand around, and a bar at the window.
Fully equipped and genuinely open - an island with stools on one side so that whoever is cooking is still in the conversation, and a breakfast bar set at the window where the mountain is. Oven, hob, extractor, full-height fridge. The dining table is a step away.

The covered terrace
The long table, and three sides open to the valley.
A heavy wooden table with benches and woven stools, under a roof of exposed beams, open on three sides. This is where most of the eating happens once the sun is off it - lunch late, dinner later, and the light going orange over the ridge while you are still sitting there.
