The villa is built for a group staying a week: a pool long enough to swim in, a spa downstairs for the end of the day, a kitchen you can cook properly in, and the practical things - parking, fast Wi-Fi, laundry - all taken care of.
The pool
A big pool for swimming and unwinding, open to the sky.
Open to the sky and the forest, with loungers and umbrellas along one side and the outdoor kitchen at the end of it. It is lit after dark, which turns the whole terrace blue and is worth staying up for. The evening cool at 480 metres does the rest.
Facilities
The spa.
Downstairs and deliberately dim: a dry sauna in timber, a hammam lined in deep blue mosaic with a vaulted ceiling, a rain shower, and a relaxation room with a lounger and candles. It is a proper sequence rather than a token - heat, steam, cold water, then somewhere to sit and do nothing.

- Timber-lined, with benches at two heights. Best after a long walk.
- Hammam
- Deep blue mosaic under a vaulted ceiling. The room where time slows down.
- Rain shower
- Cold water to finish. That is the whole point of it.
- Relaxation room
- A lounger, low light and candles, for the half hour afterwards.
